Boozhoo and Osiyo! Sherina, whose ancestry comprises a delightful blend of Scottish, Anishinabe, and Cherokee roots, attained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Dakota. She specializes in assisting businesses and organizations with their online presence, managing websites, and overseeing social media accounts. Sherina serves in Social Media position for various projects, including the National Indigenous Justice Information Inclusion (NIJII), Tribal Elder Justice Coalition (The Web), and the Be Students Empowering and Encouraging Native Nations (BE SEENN).
The projects she is involved in are funded through various grants including the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Additionally, she holds the role of Administrative Assistant for the FCC grant. Beyond her professional pursuits, Sherina's personal interests revolve around her family, heritage, tribal justice issues, and cybercrime.
